May is upon us!!!! So much time... so little to do . WAIT!! Scratch that reverse it ......... Lots of cellebrations start this month, and we are fortunate to be able to participate in many wonderful festivities in May. Newport Beach, CA was "Tinselated" with the arrival of the 13th annual Newport Beach Film Festival. a whopping 450 films were screened, and the turnout was a complete success !!! Gustavo was on hand for some TV and print interviews. "Film and Music go hand in hand, and I think it is important to support my friends in the film business ... as they always do with me. Thanks guys & Gals !!! "

April has been a whirlwind of emotions and love, getting by with a little help from our friends... and being... and letting be......helping without expecting anything in return is the best gift one can receive......

As the tour throughout the USA continues, Gustavo makes an improptu visit to the House of Blues in Anaheim and sits in with the band Casual Encounters. Great band,great food, and great atmosphere. Thank you HOB, as well as the "Men in Black" (Anaheim PD) whom Gustavo dedicated his performance to for keeping us all safe. Next stop.... Huntington Beach, CA .........

March 18th marked the closing of the 19th San Diego Latino Film Festival, which Gustavo was very fortunate to be invited to play at. Ethan and the whole staff , including all of the volunteers really went out of their way to make sure the whole band enjoyed themselves... and a 1 hour set turned in to 2 hours. There is something special when you combine film and music, you really do get MAGIC !!! The San Diego Latino Film Festival was Magical !!! Elvis is Everywhere, and on March 16th Gustavo visited the Pala Casino,Spa and Resort off of Highway 76 in San Diego County to live the Elvis Experience. The Elvis Tribute Artists, or ETA's put on their favorite jumpsuit.... and Showed off their Chops in a wonderful performance that took the audience through memory lane... and had everyone Rockin in their Blue Suede Shoes .... Gustavo was honored to share the stage with such incredible talent, singing "Can't Help Falling in Love, to an audience that was off the hook.".The highlight of the night came when Gustavo met the lovely Darlene Tompkins, who appeared with Elvis in the 1961 movie Blue Hawaii. Darlene shared some great Elvis stories with Gustavo, and then it was off to the San Diego Latino Film Festival for another grand performance with the band.... 20 years ago this September Gustavo Alarco released his first solo album on BMG/RCA records. Being a huge Elvis fan, he requested that the RCA logo with Nipper the Dog, and the Gramaphone be printed onto the physical copies of the CD.... BMG listened, and as they quotes on his first single "Fue La Noche" "A new Star was Born" !!! Today we would like to Celebrate that fantastic first production, and take you Back to the Future.... ummm past, to see Gustavo in action as a kid. Enjoy !!!

Gustavo appeared  Feb, 23, 2012 on "A Todo Color" on Azteca America with Humberto Luna & Belen. Celebrating his 20th anniversary in the music business with mention of his previous release on BMG/RCA International, and promoting the new production on ChemBee Records. With the much anticipated world tour just around the corner, Gustavo will continue traveling throughout the US, in hopes of touching the hearts of new fans throughout.

We would like to thank El Portal 95.9 FM  for inviting Gustavo to perform at their Posadas Christmas celebration this past December. A benefit concert where proceeds were used to purchase presents for Children,  so that they could have a Merry Christmas !!! The Event was a success !!! Santa Claus arrived with lots of goodies for the kids !!!



LATIN GRAMMY AWARDS 2011



 GUSTAVO ALARCO & Grammy Award Winner TANVI SHAH  arrived at the Latin Grammy Awards in Las Vegas in Style. Gustavo wearing Kenneth Cole & Tanvi a Vikran Phadnis outfit from Soigne K New York.

 Tanvi is the 1st woman from India to win the prestigious GRAMMY AWARD for the song Jai Ho from the megahit film Slumdog Millionaire. She is also the 1st Indian to become a member of the Latin Academy for her duet "Lluvia Lejana" with Gustavo Alarco.


The Duo is in Las Vegas on a promotional tour of Gustavo's new album "Mundo Extraño" produced by the multi faceted  Greg Beery, with the duet "Lluvia Lejana" , a rhythmic track about a distant love and the longing to once again reunite.


The Green Carpet at the Latin Grammy Awards reunited once again these two good friends that took on the world press with much success !!!
